Modem users will need to wait for music file to load
Hello rockin' people, I would like to begin by saying websites are like Rock and Roll, there to be enjoyed. We do hope that you enjoy ours, enjoy your stay and do visit us now and then.
With this major update it's a job to know where to begin, but I will try to clarify some of the changes. Firstly we are keeping the long established name for the moment as this makes us easier to find out here in cyberspace. Our Rock 'n' Roll events are no longer being held at "Hardy Spicers" as we felt the people were being let down a bit by the demise of the facilities at the venue. We always take great pride in what we do and felt it was the right time to move on. We have some great memories of many fantastic nights at Hardys and we give thanks to the club and all that were involved in making it such a success.
The two new venues we are using are great and I think in the year ahead we can once again become the central hub of the rockin' scene in the midlands. We're certainly gonna give it our best shot. The new venues are "The Forget Me Not Club" which is just around the corner from Hardys and "The Yardley Wood Social Club". The best way forward on this site is to provide two seperate pages for comming events, so click either of the two links to see what's on. We will also include directions on how to get there.
Last but not least a mention about the holiday. There will obviously be many rumours kicked around the circuit so a few lines just to put the record straight. The cancellation was due mainly to certain points of the contract not being upheld by parties concerned. Not to go into finer details just sufice to say that we thought it would affect some peoples enjoyment of the holiday. We are commited to at least trying to get everything right and will endeavour to make assurances that it is before finalising arrangments next time. It was a shame as a lot of hard work went into the planning and we do appologise to all of those who booked and were looking forward to it, we certainly were.
